S.I.G.N.A.L.E.T, an outdoor sculpture group, is based on the rhombus shape, inspired by the Norwegian Armed Forces’ button tent. The sculptures symbolize networks and signals, referencing communication, construction, and collaboration—key elements in the camp’s daily work. The forms can be interpreted as an abstraction of antennas or mobile shields, constantly interacting with their surroundings.
Om å rystes, Om å reagere stille are two reliefs made of lacquered steel and birch veneer in shades of green, pink and purple, inspired by the Cyberdefence`s heraldic palette. The artwork explores the sense of unease that arises, prior to reacting tactically in defence and further in response. Its title evoke a process: from receiving signals to being shaken, and then responding. Together, the artworks reflect the camp’s mission and values, while also serving as poetic expressions with timeless aesthetic qualities, inspired by postmodernism and minimalistic sculpture.
